Credit Terms
What a credit is, how it is priced, when it is spent, and when it comes back.
Updated July 2026
Credits exist because AI generation costs real money every single time it runs. They pass that cost through in a unit you can reason about, priced before you commit, so that spending is a decision you make rather than an invoice you receive.
What a credit buys
Generation: images, video, audio and agent runs. Each model has its own credit price, derived from what it costs to run plus the margin that keeps the platform going.
Different models cost different amounts because they genuinely do. A short image generation and a long video generation are not the same amount of work, and pretending otherwise would mean overcharging for one to subsidise the other.
You see the price first
Every run is quoted before it starts, and nothing begins until you confirm that number. There is no post-hoc billing surprise, because there is no post-hoc billing path. Your confirmation is what creates the run.
This holds for agents too. Where you set a spend threshold, anything above it waits for your review instead of proceeding and telling you afterwards.
How a run is charged
Confirming a run reserves the quoted credits rather than immediately consuming them. The reservation settles into a charge when the run delivers, and is released if it does not.
That is why a balance can briefly show credits held against work in flight. Nothing is lost in that state, and a run that never completes releases what it was holding.
Buying credits
Top up any amount from $5 to $1,000. Larger amounts carry a better rate. The exact credit figure is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, so you are never guessing at what the money converts to.
Credits are added to your balance when the payment succeeds. Membership and credits are separate purchases and cancelling one does not affect the other.
Discounts
Membership, paying with SOL and a first-purchase referral discount all reduce the price, and the quote shows you which ones applied rather than just a total.
- Founder membership: 10% off every top-up
- Standard membership: 5% off every top-up
- Paying with SOL: 10% off
- Invited by a creator: 15% off your first eligible purchase, once
Expiry
Credits do not expire. They stay on your balance until you spend them, through a quiet month, a cancelled membership, or a year away.
We do not run a use-it-or-lose-it clock. A balance that expires is a way of charging you for nothing, and we are not interested in that revenue.
Failed runs
If a run produces no output, its credits are returned automatically. You should not have to notice, ask, or argue. If it ever does not happen, that is a defect worth reporting rather than a refund to request.
A run that produced something you did not like has not failed. The price was shown and confirmed before it ran, which is precisely so that judgement stays yours.
Refunds
Credits consumed by a completed generation are not refundable. Unused credits may be refundable within a limited window of the purchase that added them. The Refunds & Cancellation policy covers both cases and how to ask.
A refunded purchase removes the credits it added. We cannot refund the money and leave the balance.
Transferability
Credits are tied to your account. They cannot be transferred to another account, sold, gifted, or exchanged for cash, and they are not a stored-value instrument or a currency.
They are prepayment for a service on one account, and that is all they are.
Price changes
Model prices can change when the underlying cost of running them changes, which happens without our involvement. A change takes effect at the next quote.
A run you have already confirmed runs at the price you confirmed. We do not re-price work in flight.
