Refunds & Cancellation

How memberships cancel, when credits are refundable and when they are not, what happens if a run fails, and how to ask.

Updated September 2026

Membership and credits are separate purchases and refund differently. Membership is a recurring subscription for designated member spaces. Credits pay for generation. Cancelling membership does not remove credits you bought or work you made.

Cancelling a membership

Memberships renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, so you keep access until that period runs out.

We do not make you argue with a retention flow, we do not require a reason, and we will not renew a membership you have cancelled. If a renewal you cancelled is charged anyway, that is a fault on our side and we will refund it in full.

Founder memberships

Founder pricing is locked while the membership stays active and paid. Cancelling releases both the rate and the Founder slot, and the slot may be taken by someone else immediately. We cannot hold it for you and we will not pretend otherwise.

Coming back later means joining at whatever is available then. That is the honest trade for a lower price offered early, and it is the reason the lower price exists.

Credits you have spent

Credits consumed by a completed generation are not refundable. You saw the exact price before it ran and confirmed it, and the cost of that run was incurred on your instruction.

Not liking a result is not a failed run. Generative models produce work you will sometimes discard, which is why the price is shown up front rather than after, so the decision to spend is yours, made with the number in front of you.

Credits you have not spent

Unused credits may be refundable within a limited window of the purchase that added them. Contact support, tell us which purchase you mean, and we will look at it properly rather than pointing at a policy.

A refund of unused credits removes those credits from your balance. We cannot refund a purchase and leave the balance in place, and we will not refund credits that have since been spent.

When a run fails

A run that produces no output returns its credits automatically. You should not have to ask, and if it did not happen, that is a defect worth reporting rather than a favour to request.

A run that produced something, however imperfect, has settled. Where a run is stuck rather than finished, its credits stay held rather than spent, and they are released if it never delivers.

Discounts and refunded purchases

Where a purchase was discounted (by membership, by paying with SOL, or by a first-purchase referral discount), a refund returns what you actually paid, not the undiscounted list price.

Refunding a purchase that triggered a referral commission reverses that commission. Commission does not vest on money that came back.

How to ask

Contact support with “Billing” selected. The single most useful thing you can give us is roughly when it happened; with that we can find the charge, the run and the credit movement and see for ourselves what occurred.

You do not need to build a case. Tell us what you expected and what happened instead, and we will read the record.

Billing problems

Charged twice, charged wrongly, charged after cancelling, or charged for something that never ran? Contact support and we will make it right. These are our mistakes to fix, not disputes to win.

Refunds are returned to the payment method that made the purchase, because that is generally the only place a processor can send them. How long the money takes to appear after we issue it is set by your bank or card provider, not by us, so we will not quote you a figure we do not control.

Chargebacks

If something looks wrong, please talk to us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback takes the decision away from both of us, usually costs more than the amount in dispute, and can suspend the account while it is open.

We would rather refund something arguable than have that conversation through two payment processors. Ask first.
