A creator you referred could spend hundreds on credits and it would earn you nothing, and we would rather you knew that before you built a plan on it than after.

A one-off bounty rewards getting a signature. Commission on recurring membership payments rewards recommending the platform to someone it actually suits, because if they leave, it stops. That is deliberate: it makes an honest recommendation the profitable one.
